Projekt Praktikum (Lab Project in Theory)

We offer lab projects in theoretical physics (replacing one module of the Advanced Lab in experiment) for students particularly interested in theory.

The lab project is equivalent to one working day per week for one semester, but can also be handled flexible as block. The goal is get an insight in some topic at the forefront of current theoretical research in condensed matter or quantum physics, read some literature and understand d the basics concepts.

The topic we are currently offerering (non-exclusive list):

• open quantum systems, dissipation
• superconductivity
• quantum magnonics
• quantum information and quantum measurment
• topological concept in many-body physics
